Whalehead King lives in Dorchester, Massachusetts.  Boston is a world class city and Dorchester is its biggest neighborhood in geographical area, population and ethnic diversity.  One of the first "streetcar suburbs" in the world, Dorchester is still well served by the MBTA's Red Line, that whisks trains through the Dorchester Tunnel, as well as on the Mattapan High Speed, an extension of the Red Line that runs above ground and on schedule.  The Mattapan High Speed is the only public train that runs through a cemetery.

While he spends a lot of time on the T and even takes an occasional bus when convenient, Whalehead King steers a motorcycle through Boston's tangled traffic.  He is the proud owner of The Littlest Ninja this side of the Charles River.  He and his mount have logged many miles dashing from stoplight to stoplight.  Kawasaki lets the good times roll, and the Little Ninja's odometer rolls by doubly exciting in Boston during rush hour where plenty of lane splitting opportunities abound.

Whalehead King's nom de guerre refers to his ample ego as much as it does to his former posting as New London's Unofficial Goodwill Ambassador.  New London is Connecticut's Whaling City.  He published annual chapbooks celebrating the New London State of Mind.  The final copies of the last installment are for sale for $10.50, including shipping and taxes.  We do not offer excerpts from this masterpiece.  W. K. has sold more chapbooks in New London than anyone in memory.  He still claims the honorary title "Bard of New London."  There are less than a hundred copies left and a second edition will not be printed.

Whalehead King is forever on patrol with his eyes peeled, his ears cocked open and his head moving like a magpie toward every shiny thing that attracts him.  This site is a work in progress due for an overhaul.  Thank you for visiting and come back again in a month or two when we expect, Your Man on the Dot will have finessed things a little bit more plausibly and satisfactorily.
